So I was going to write about the Express Sexy Satin Tube dress, but the douches over at Express decided to not make their images saveable. Like, wtf? Whatever.
But it's cute! It comes in like a million (okay, six) adorable colors that sit solidly in the 80's, neon trend. I want the peach one and the emerald green one. The peach one would be adorbs in the spring and the emerald green one would clearly work for the holidays.
Beyond the colors, I kind of severely covet this dress. Normally I'm wary of strapless dresses: I think they are way too popular for a style that really does not work for everyone. Willowy? Go for it. Solid? Exercise caution. I fall in the second category, so I do. Normally, at least. Sometimes I weaken and slip and then end up looking stupid. But this one is structured in a way that makes me think I could wear it, so I want to.
It's $60 now, marked down from $80—which, good decision, because... who is spending $80 at Express of all places these days? For real. If I'm really desperate for a dress—and believe me, I have a formal event on Dec. 5 that I will be obsessing over—I will buy this. Otherwise, it will be strictly an impulse buy when it's inevitably marked down to $45 in a month.
