I see where they were going with this, but I'm not a big fan. Normally I'm a fan of the nipped waist/full bottom coat (it just occurred to me that you might be able to call it an A-line coat—can you say that?), but this one is just way too busy. Maybe it would work if the details on the hem and sleeves were more narrow? I also think this color isn't exactly the most versatile. How often can you wear a long salmon coat? Exactly: not that often. I think the rules for long coats are like the rules for lying: KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid.
